I used twitter for my other website for a while, but I never used it for my personal profile. I created one lately I was pretyt amazed by the quick-registration steps. Ok, now what? I have no followers, and my friends are unable to find me. Facebook has a cool feature where you can invite all your msn contacts automatically. I though this is impossible in twitter because I didn’t find a tool provided by twitter (like the one in facebook) so I was like how am I ever going to tell my friends that I have a twitter account!

after some days I figure out a way to do it – and it is easy!

here is a step by step how to do it:

1. Open your Msn Live messenger, and login with the account where you want to invite all your friends in.
2. Click Contrcact -> Save contacts
3. Open the file you created with a text editor, I used notepad++ !
4. Replace </contact> with a comma in each line using the proper tool in your text editor,
5. remove all extra lines, and keep emails only.
6. Select ALL > COPY
7. go to http://twitter.com/invitations/invite_by_email and Past all the emails.
8. Click  ‘Invite’ ..

Now all your msn contacts will receive an email invitaion from twitter telling them that you want them to check your profile.
