I’ve used What’sApp for about 2 months. I absolutely love it, but it is not perfectly what people want. What’sAPP depends on the contact list of you iphone / BB and register your phone using your phone number. It automatically add people usig their numbers in your list. I am not sure why the developers didn’t think of “two people may not know each others, may not want to share their numbers, yet they still want to ‘chat’ with each other for some reason” ..

pMessenger is another app that solves this problem but it has other issues. pMessenger uses pMIDs to add people, the bad news is that it really has an ugly interface

what I personally need is something in between What’sAPP and pMessenger .. an app that has What’sAPP interface and pMessenger way of adding people. I am not sure why people didn’t do it yet? waiting for our developers generation? maybe…
